The Nashville singer brings Strange faith stands out on late night television
Freshly released the new album Strange faithMadi Diaz appeared on Tonight's show Friday to perform one of the LP's standout tracks, “Everything Almost.”
The artist dubbed “Nashville’s secret weapon” by rolling stone said in a recent interview with us that the single is a “straight-up diary entry.” “Madi has a really nice way of keeping everything conversational,” her friend Kacey Musgraves – who appears on Strange faith“Don't Do Me Good” from “Don't Do Me Good” – said rolling stone. “My favorite kind of songwriting.”
After years in the music industry, moving through New York and Los Angeles, Diaz settled in Nashville, eventually landing a spot opening for Harry Styles; Styles loved her so much that he added her to his backing band for his 2023 tour.
Strange faithDiaz's first album since 2021 History of a feeling, arrived Friday. “This record is about the beginning of love and expressing every feeling out loud, whenever I feel it, for better or for worse because I can't help it,” Diaz said in a statement. According to the songwriter, the record “also tells of a new relationship, but also a new relationship with myself.”
