The singer flew straight from her latest Eras tour in Japan on Saturday to make it to Las Vegas in time for the Big Game.
Taylor Swift is at the Super Bowl. The singer was spotted supporting her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, before his team took on the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl on Sunday in Las Vegas. Swift flew straight from Japan to Sin City on Saturday after finishing her final show in Tokyo as part of her Eras World Tour. She lands just in time to cheer Kelce on.
The pop star arrived with friends Blake Lively, Ice Spice and Ashley Avignone, as seen in the video shared on social media.
While some fans were nervous about the quick turnaround time it would take for Swift to get to the game on time, the singer has made supporting Kelce a priority in recent months. In fact, when Swift walked onto the field to hug Kelce after the Chiefs beat the Baltimore Ravens, winning the AFC Conference Championship and certifying their Super Bowl berth, it was the 13th game that she attended.
And even though this is Swift's first time in the Super Bowl (at least publicly), the Chiefs are fighting for a back-to-back win after beating the Philadelphia Eagles in last year's big game.
The big match caps an exciting week for Swift, who won two Grammy Awards at last week's ceremony – Best Pop Vocal Album and Album of the Year – and announced her upcoming album of original music, Department of Tortured Poets. Kelce wasn't in attendance due to his Super Bowl training schedule, but supported Swift from afar, joking that now the pressure was on for him to bring home his own trophy.
” She is incredible. She herself is rewriting the history books,” he said at a media event earlier this week. “I told him I should keep my end of the bargain and come home with some gear too.”
Kelce added that he had the chance to listen to some of his 11th studio album. “I heard about it, yes. And it's incredible,” he told reporters. “I can't wait for her to rock the world when it finally drops.”
